Came back from 12hrs guard duty @ Tekong ammo dump.. damn shag.. didn't see anything of the 3rd kind.. luckily.. a few krestral sgt and a pc is coming to attach to our coy till around our POP date.. and fuck la! 2 of de krestral sgt in my plt damn siao on.. but they are reasonable and nice la.. especially this sgt khairul which makes an effort to talk to us, good chap.

Did Basic Close Combat Training; DAMN SHAG! not to mention ytd's session at parade sq under the hot blazing sun.. almost fainted! CB! Thanks to that sgt! Argh! Did jab, upper cut, punches and knee jab... next wk learning blocks and bayonet combat... damn.. draw arms!

next week rather pack.. but shd be a friday bookout... cox friday got tekong challenge.. teams from all over SAF participating in this amazing race thingy .. so entire fri coy admin! hope no SK...

this wk oso damn slack.. cox there are outfield activities for sgt from mon-wed... plus specs parade on thurs.. so we are pretty untouch.. but damn! the 4km route march in FBO.. almost cmi!! can't imagine the 12km, much less the 24km one! Argh!

out of quarantine finally... but hate marching to cookhouse in smart 4 in the hot afternoon.. this week is PURE SAI KANG WEEK... did bullshit stuffs for POP parade.. did some bullshit stuff for bronco CQ.. end up he kana scolded by our Sgt Maj. for unauthorized usage of us boys..

We finally got a new PC... though the previous PC, John. has more shock and awe... this current PC too siao on.. scare.. and now.. all the morning PT has add on an additional jog of variable distant.. depend on de CDI.. sianz... endure la!

The old people in the house is advising me not to go overseas for my university studies... crime rate, distance, cost blah blah blah.... sianz

but seriously, not too keen on going overseas either... although if there's no monetary restriction, I would definitely give it a shot... but then again, pretty reluctant to tie down my dad's finance situation and leave my friends/family over here and start all over there again...

been looking at some good biz courses in s'pore... apmi offer's NUI undergrad course in just 16mths.. how attractive is that! but.. so de short la...

but den again.. how many heard of National Uni of Ireland in S'pore?

MDIS Bradford program seems solid.. but i just don't like MDIS.. nasty student support from there...

narrows the choice down to SIM-UOL program.. keke... planning to enrol in either Banking & Finance or Economic & Management for 2009 class...

at least thats what i plan to.. unless something better comes along... like NUS acceptance letter to their Biz Program... which is like.. impossible ^_^

TADA! I'm still here!

Extended my MC again.. because my eyes took a worse turn on tuesday morning... went to polyclinic.. got another medicine.. as the doctor suspect thats another bacteria since it's still like that since last thurs.. wow i must say.. the new med is freaking good! my eyes clear liao!! just 1 day!! fuck la! should have visited him earlier!!

THE DON (a.k.a Dad) HAS SPEAK.. he say is a freaking waste of money to buy Macbook laptop.. cause it's so expensive + the specs is just there nia.. not fantastic..

so.. i convinced him i will get an iMac desktop in the meantime (since i'm not studying, no need to lug a laptop ard + i'm not allow to bring comp in camp even after POP anyway... no bar on shoulder keke).... to save cost and get the maximum bang.. shall get a cheap acer laptop for studies when i get out of N.S... keke..

My eyes are still not fully clear yet... but think I'm going to book in tml anyway...only the side light red la... shd be ok...

Was reading my past blog entries .. i realized my acer aspire 2000/1 laptop has been with me for 3.5yrs or so alr.. withness my entire polytechnic life... done numerous projects and cca proposal, I.T projects and reports on it... nostalgic.. but it's barely keeping up... 1 of it's hinge has broke, it's system latency is hitting an all time high... employing HD Tuning & optimization software don't seem to speed it up.. 40GB of HDD and 512MB RAM is showing it's limitation..

and i have decided...... to get a new laptop (most probably) feb-april next yr!!

why so long? because i need to save money laaaaaa 21 yrs old soon.. must keep minimum account balance in both my bank a/c... cannot any old how spend liao :(

was deciding between Acer/HP/Apple/Dell...

decided to get.... APPLE! ya i know it's abit too early to decide.. but i need a goal ya... keke ^_^

Looking at least at a specification of Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz, 120GB HDD & 2GB RAM... able to do surf website, watch video, listen music, write document, do spreadsheets and powerpoint can alr... could have got a wintel pc... but.. wanna try mac la.. keke...

now is thinking should i get macbook or macbook pro, difference being pro has a dedicated graphic card and bigger screen... there are some online games like Hell Gate London that I really wanna try... so i dunno is it worth the extra 1k to just enable my laptop to play mid/high end games.. i mean afterall.. i don't really play computer games.. most of the time for me is console gaming... comp for me is really work/study/surf net/video/music/chatting nia la....

well... must sleepp early tonight.. Singapore Ferry Terminal at 7.15am tomorrow!! got a 7.30am boat tomorrow!!

Gorgeous isn't it... this is the Macbook, the cheaper one... cost just appx 2.4k .. quite a steal! just that it has no dedicated graphics card... tsk tsk

i shall use 2.5k as a guage, and as a token of sincerity! i shall put in S$10 into my Macbook fund!

Actually better liao la.. just that it's still red... in this condition, probably kana chase away or scolded by sgts.. because my eyes are obviously red... even the doctor, which visited this morning scare 'should' be taming down bah.. keke...

nonetheless... will be booking in on tuesday morning 0730... hence.. 1 more day of rest for me!!!

Ytd was teacher's day! apparantly, this is the 1st teacher day i spent NOT as a student... really miss my secondary school and polytechnic... even the innocent and carefree life of primary school... alot of teachers has shape my life during my course of studies.. apparantly, it's my chinese teachers that impact my educational life with important life values... and maths teacher? always the bane of my life :P forever remember lau siew cheng & phua ... keke... NEVER FORGET! haha.. it's a pity that the bulk of my educational life has come to such abrupt end... hope i have the opportunity to visit my schools in the years to come... a trip down memory lane would be good...

on an ending note.. happy teacher's day to all ^_^

Sore Eyes!

Ahh!! I kana sore eyes... now better liao.. but still have a mild fever... quite a number of my coy mates also tio... read the chinese newspaper ytd, apparently there's a spike in sore eyes cases in Singapore.. keke

feel damn miserable la.. half blind like that... book out on thursday... today's the last day of my Attend C status.. tml 4.30pm must report back at Pasir Ris bus interchange again.... *Yawn* That is if my eyes becomes better... hope it does.. don't want to miss the IPPT Cat. test on wednesday... haix... so fast, half of my BMT done.. keke.. but still far from POP... !! It's pretty saddening to see Rahimi (my bunk) and Brock (next bunk) OOT-ing... haix... Training been tough, run and run and run everyday... at least 2 X 2.4KM run everyday.... especially my platoon ... cox we have compulsory 'Own Time Own Target' training... arrow by Plt Sgt... HAIX..
